| The DW Steele Chapter is committed to Aerospace Education and hopes to foster careers in the military or aviation industry through its annual scholarship program. The various Chapter scholarship categories are: |
- Open Scholarships
- Anyone in the Chapter area with an AF or AFA connection (AF members & dependents, AFA Chapter members & dependents) may apply
- $2,000 and $1,000 awards; number of awards varies depending on caliber of applicants
- Application period: March 1 thru May 30 annually

- Moorman Scholarship
- All AF enlisted personnel in the National Capital Region are eligible to apply
- Single $2,000 award
- Application period: January 1 thru mid-March annually

- ROTC Scholarship
- National Capitol Region AFROTC cadets are eligible to apply
- Award amount varies based on number and caliber of applicants
- Application period: January 1 thru mid-March annually
