 Welcome to the Air Force Association's D.W. Steele, Sr. Memorial Chapter of Northern Virginia (Chapter #239). This chapter, named in the honor of an outstanding AFA member and local community leader, is the oldest and largest chapter in Northern Virginia. Its membership is drawn from a large geographical area within northern Virginia and the metropolitan Washington DC area including the Pentagon and Bolling, AFB. Our members come from both military and civilian ranks - on active duty and retired, from the aerospace industry, businesses, schools and the community at large.
Our chapter members work very hard to be the best and are extremely proud of their contributions to AFA and AEF. They continue to serve on committees, they run special events, and they mentor new volunteers - turning them into future AFA leaders. We invite you to become a member of the AFA and this chapter.
